Kamui International Snowsports School provides ski and snowboard instruction at Kamui Ski Links, located in Asahikawa, Japan.
Services include:

Private ski and snowboard lessons
Group coaching sessions
Guided mountain experiences

All lessons are conducted in person on the date and time selected during booking.

Pricing & Payment Terms

Pricing is listed clearly on each lesson or product page.
All bookings must be made via our website or confirmed directly with KISS staff.
Full payment is required at the time of booking.
A booking is only confirmed once payment is processed and a confirmation email is received.
We accept all major credit cards via Stripe.
Charges will appear as: Rookies Japan GK Kamui

Cancellations, Refunds & Weather Policy

More than 7 days before the lesson: Full refund (minus processing fees)
7 days to 48 hours before the lesson: 50% refund
Less than 48 hours before or no-show: No refund

Refunds are not provided for illness, injury, weather, travel delays, or other personal circumstances.
We strongly recommend obtaining travel insurance that covers snowsports.

If Kamui Ski Links fully closes (e.g. due to weather), KISS will attempt to reschedule or issue a credit/refund at its discretion.

Lesson Participation Requirements

A valid lift pass and appropriate snowsports equipment are required.
Guests are responsible for properly fitted and maintained equipment.
Any relevant medical conditions or injuries must be disclosed before the lesson.
Children under 18 must have written consent and be dropped off and picked up by a parent or guardian.

Risk Acknowledgement & Liability

Skiing and snowboarding involve inherent risks including changing weather, terrain, snow conditions, collisions, and physical exertion.
By participating in a lesson, you voluntarily accept all such risks.
KISS and Rookies Japan GK are not liable for:

Injuries, accidents, or medical issues
Lost or damaged equipment
Cancellations due to weather, conditions, or lift status

Helmets and travel insurance are strongly recommended.

Instructor Allocation

KISS reserves the right to assign or change instructors based on operational needs.
We will consider preferences (e.g. language, gender), but cannot guarantee requests.

Child Safety & Instructor Conduct

All instructors follow strict policies around child supervision, safety, and professional conduct.
Children will only be released to a parent/guardian unless prior written permission is provided.

Photography & Media

We may take photos or videos during lessons for training or promotional use.
If you do not wish to appear in any media, please notify us in writing before your lesson.

Privacy & Data Protection

We collect personal data (e.g. name, contact info, DOB, lesson preferences, emergency contacts) for:

Booking management
Instructor assignment
Safety and legal compliance

We do not store full payment information.
Data may be shared with:

Rookies Japan GK staff
Your instructor
Kamui Ski Links personnel (if needed)
Legal/medical authorities (if required)

Data is securely stored using platforms such as Squarespace, Stripe, and Google Workspace.

You may request access to or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
Any disputes will be handled under the jurisdiction of Hokkaido Prefecture.
