We offer private ski and snowboard lessons only.
Our services include:
Full-day private lessons (6.5 hours including a lunch break)
Half-day private lessons (3 hours)
Two-hour private lessons
Exclusive Private Experience (full day with return transport from Asahikawa)

What languages are lessons taught in?
2
All lessons at Kamui International Snowsports School are taught in English.
Our instructors specialise in working with international guests and ensure clear, confident communication on and off the mountain.
Where do your lessons take place?
3
All lessons take place at Kamui Ski Links, just outside Asahikawa in Hokkaido. We meet at our ski school flag outside the main building (slope side) or at our desk inside near the rental shop.
We teach all levels, from complete beginners to advanced skiers and snowboarders. Whether you’re staying on groomed runs or looking to find the best powder on the mountain, we’ve got you covered.

What levels do you teach?
Can beginners and experienced skiers join the same lesson?
5
We generally do not recommend mixing complete beginners with experienced skiers or snowboarders in the same lesson. Progress, safety, and enjoyment are much better when levels are similar. If you’re unsure, contact us and we’ll advise.
Can skiers and snowboarders join the same lesson?
6
We don’t combine skiers and snowboarders in the same lesson, as each discipline requires different techniques and teaching approaches. This ensures the best experience for everyone.
Whats included in a lesson?
7
Lessons include private instruction and priority gondola access. Rental equipment, lift tickets, food, accommodation, and transport (unless you’ve booked our Exclusive Private Experience) are not included.
Do you provide rental equipment?
8
We do not manage rental equipment directly. All ski and snowboard rentals must be booked through Kamui Ski Links’ official rental shop here .We strongly recommend arriving early to allow time for fitting, especially during busy periods.
Do you offer children or adult group lessons?
9
At this time, we do not run children or adult group lessons. We currently focus on private lessons only, but we are looking to introduce group lessons next season.
What happens if the weather is poor?
10
Kamui Ski Links operates in a wide range of conditions. If the resort closes and lessons are affected, we’ll contact you directly to discuss options.
Can I change or cancel my booking?
11
Cancellation and change policies depend on notice period and lesson type. Please refer to our booking terms and conditions or contact us directly if something comes up.
Do I need a lift pass if I’ve never skied/snowboard before?
12
If it’s your first time skiing or snowboarding, a lift pass is usually not required at the start. Beginners typically begin in our dedicated learning area before using the lifts. Your instructor will let you know when a lift pass becomes necessary.
